Ubuntu Jam Tirana

Ubuntu Jam in Tirana

Ubuntu Jam in Tirana

Ubuntu is a computer operating system based on the Debian Linux distribution and distributed as free and open source software, using its own desktop environment. It is named after the Southern African philosophy of ubuntu (“humanity towards others”) or another translation would be: “the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity”.

As supporter of the free and open source operating systems we at Open Labs support the promotion of Ubuntu by organizing the first Ubuntu Jam in Tirana, Albania. But what is an Ubuntu Jam?

An Ubuntu Jam is a local event, where people like us meet to do something with Ubuntu. The point is to have fun, meet great people from local community , learn something new and make Ubuntu better in a way that you like and enjoy.
